Lisa is a National Board Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been in practice since 2012. Lisa has a multitude of experience, including working in a partial hospitalization program providing group and family therapy services to children.  As she advanced her clinical skills Lisa continued to provide individual, family and group therapy for children, adolescents and parents in an outpatient setting.

In effort to further her expertise, Lisa received extensive training in play therapy. Lisa is a Registered Play Therapist. She is an active member of the Association for Play Therapy. As such, Lisa is an executive board member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Association for Play Therapy. She also is a member of the Play Therapy Consortium of New Jersey.

Profound Insights has been in operation since 2017.  After a year of its establishment Lisa decided to pursue her dream and expand the practice full time. Lisa prides Profound Insights on its mission to provide a safe therapeutic environment to motivate positive growth, change and personal success. Lisa strives to create a relationship in which her clients feel empowered and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

In 2017 she was recognized as a Top Therapist in New Jersey.

Lisa continues to expand her knowledge and expertise in the field of mental health counseling.

She does so by teaching as a professor of psychology at Brookdale Community College. Lisa has been an adjunct professor since 2012 where she enjoys teaching human development and introductory psychology courses to mental health counselors of the future.

Lastly, Lisa also works as an IIC providing in home therapy to youth in crisis.
